Family Support Services

Family Support Services include a broad array of services targeted to provide assistance, supportive counseling, and resources for families experiencing life transitions.  These services are designed to 1.) Preserve the family structure  2.) Empower individuals and families toward stability and  3.) Assist at risk youth in attaining and sustaining community placement.  Services may include individual and family counseling, parent skills training and coordination with other required services.

Agency staff provides Family Support Services for youth identified as at risk for out of home placement and/or your transitioning to the community following more restrictive levels of care.  Out of home placement includes psychiatric hospitalization, juvenile detention, foster care, kinship care and residential care.  Services can be home, school and community based.

  • Coping Skills
  • Communication
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Behavioral Interventions
